Ready to step beyond pre-made patterns? Learn the secrets of drafting a bespoke corset pattern using your own measurements! In this semi-private class, Dianna will teach you how to draft your a corset pattern from scratch, using the same techniques she does in her bespoke corsetry. Using your own measurements, you will create a flat pattern to create a mock-up from. You will sew, fit, and correct the mock-up and make the adjustments to your patterns. You will learn how to fit plus size, asymmetrical bodies, scoliosis, different bust issues that arise frequently, and much more. By the end of this class, you will have your own bespoke corset pattern for yourself, and an understanding of how to draft and correct patterns for your customers.
This class is perfect for advanced corsetmakers and costumers who are familiar with the basics of corset making, and want to bring a personalized fit o their own corsets, and for their customers. Basic sewing experience is necessary to fully benefit from the class.
