Based in Toronto, Starkers Corsetry is a luxury brand known for fusing historical craftsmanship with modern design. Founded by corsetière Dianna DiNoble in 1992, Starkers has earned a loyal following across Canada, the U.S., and Europe for its impeccable construction, custom fit, and bold, refined aesthetic.
Whether dressing a traditional bride, a red carpet headliner, or a dedicated tightlacer, each Starkers corset is made-to-measure, hand-sculpted from fine fabrics, and reinforced with steel boning using couture-level techniques. With over 15 body measurements taken for each corset, the results are not only structurally sound but incredibly comfortable — making Starkers a trusted name among clients seeking significant waist reduction without compromising health or mobility.
Beyond corsets, Dianna also creates bespoke garments, accessories, and millinery — with her work seen on global stages and in top publications.
Her designs have graced the bodies of drag royalty including Brooke Lynn Hytes, Alyssa Edwards, Priyanka, Jimbo, and Bosco, and appeared in Vogue Italia, Cosmopolitan, Toronto Star, Flare, and more. Notable fans include Canadian icons Nelly Furtado, Rêve, and Aqyila. She was also a finalist on season one of Sew Fierce (OUTtv)
About Dianna DiNoble
A visionary from the start, Dianna began sewing at six, staging fashion shows in her teens, and selling to boutiques before graduation. After training at Sheridan College and apprenticing with couture artisans, she opened her first studio in Toronto’s fashion district in 1998 and later relocated to a private atelier, allowing her the balance of motherhood and creative entrepreneurship.
Dianna has been invited to lecture and judge at institutions like the University of Toronto, TMU, and the Bata Shoe Museum, and continues to support numerous charitable initiatives with her time and talent.
